Peter Newman
Peter Newman lives in Somerset. Growing up in and around London, Peter studied Drama and Education at the Central School of Speech and Drama, going on to work as a secondary school drama teacher, and then a trainer and Firewalking Instructor, before becoming an author full time.
He co-wrote the Tea and Jeopardy podcast which won a Hugo Award for Best Fancast in 2017.
His first novel, The Vagrant, was published by HarperVoyager in 2015 and was shortlisted for a British Fantasy Award. It also won the David Gemmell Morningstar Award in 2016. Its sequel, The Malice, was published in February 2016. The final book in the trilogy, The Seven, was published in April 2017.
The first book in his next series, The Deathless, was published by HarperVoyager in June 2018, and the second, The Ruthless, followed in June 2019. The final book, The Boundless, was published in September 2020.
He has also written for Online MMO Albion Online, George RR Martin’s Wildcards, and narrated Gail Carriger’s novella, Romancing the Werewolf.
