Debbie Howells was cabin crew, a flying instructor, then a wedding florist, during which time she wrote and self-published three novels.

Her first psychological thriller was The Bones of You, which was published in 2015 by Pan Macmillan. It’s about the events in a village surrounding the murder of a teenager, Rosie, but it’s also a haunting portrayal of emotionally abusive relationships and the dysfunctional family Rosie grew up in.

The Vow was published in October 2020 by Avon, followed by The Secret in January 2022 and The House Sitter in January 2023.

Debbie has written eight women’s fiction titles which have all been published by Boldwood Books: The Life You Left Behind February 2022), The Girl I Used To Be (October 2022), The Shape of Your Heart (February 2023), It All Started With You (June 2023), The Impossible Search For The Perfect Man (October 2023), Time To Take a Chance (December 2023), The Last Days of You and Me (January 2024) and The Making of Us (October 2024).
