Book Launch: THE BEHOLDERS by Hester Musson

Hot on the heels of the news that The Beholders had charted at no.12 on the Sunday Times hardback fiction chart,  Juliet, Alba, Kiya and Rachel joined debut author Hester Musson for her launch party at north London’s Bookbar.  

The Beholders is the first novel from Hester and follows a young maid placed in the household of a much-lauded politician, who uncovers a terrible secret that could cost her everything.  Hester’s wonderful historical novel weaves a dark and thrilling tale of intrigue, power and complicity reminiscent of the finest nineteenth-century gothic novels.

Friends and family gathered at Bookbar for drinks to toast the publication of The Beholders, with speeches from Hester and her editor Katie Bowden, Editorial Director for Fourth Estate. It was a great evening and so lovely to join Hester in celebrating all of her hard work!
